Developing the knowledge, skills and attributes children need to keep themselves healthy and safe, and prepare for life and work in modern world.

The British National Curriculum includes P.S.H.E./S.E.A.L. goals and objectives to develop the whole child. The Physical, Social and Health Education (P.S.H.E.) and Social Emotional Affective Learning (S.E.A.L.) curriculum fosters important areas of a child’s development. At Phoenix we have a monthly school wide P.S.H.E. theme to further help our children develop knowledge and skills in these important areas: manners, social skills, friendship skills, problem solving skills, health and hygiene, safety, independence, responsibility, goal achievement, respect for others, and confidence. Engaging classroom activities, literature, drama and presentations, assemblies, and whole school wide campaigns foster your child’s development in these areas. Character counts at Phoenix!
