Head Teacher Mrs Lesley Mpemba

The School is staffed by qualified, dedicated teachers who use innovative methods. The present Head Teacher Mrs Lesley Mpemba has had a long and varied experience in education in Britain and Malawi. The British National Curriculum forms the core of the curricular programme from Nursery (children aged 3-4 years) to Year 6 (10-11 years).

Phoenix does not have traditional school buildings. There are two separate blocks set around central courtyards. A separate building houses the Nursery and Art room. The buildings which are set well back from the road are surrounded by a terraced playground with shady trees and shrubs. There are large playing fields and a swimming pool on the sites.
