Phoenix International Primary School was established over thirty years ago and has developed into a dynamic International School with just over three hundred pupils in classes from Pre-Nursery to Year Six. The school has a happy, caring atmosphere which encourages strong family and community interaction.

We are committed to remaining a school where classes are kept small.

Each child receives a high level of individual attention from the teacher in classes of no more than 24 pupils.

Water Situation

Blantyre is experiencing water shortages due to the recent heavy rains and consequent damages caused by them. Phoenix began to install water tanks during December 2014 to allow for water storage but unfortunately due to the heavy rains these tanks are still not operational. We are currently relying on the water from the swimming pool for hand washing and use in the toilets. However if the condition worsens we may review the situation and deem it necessary to close school until this crisis is over. However, we hope that the water supply will normalise soon. Read more
